Dr. Gunzburg is a graduate of the globally accredited veterinary school at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia. Prior to vet school, Dr. Gunzburg was a film and television Producer/Director for productions filmed in Australia (his home country) and overseas. His affinity for all animals and their well-being, a love for the country versus the "big smoke," and a quest to explore new and exciting challenges, were precursors leading to veterinary medicine and ultimately to Hurley Veterinary Hospital via Salem, NY. Along with special interests in small ruminants, including alpacas and goats, and orthopedic surgery, Dr. Gunzburg is enjoying the great variety of outdoor activities this region has to offer.

Pursuing her lifelong dream of being a veterinarian led Dr. Amy Adams to the sunny shores of Australia to attend Murdoch University, graduating in 2009. On the road to veterinary school, she worked as a kennel hand, vet tech, executive recruiter and even a lawyer.

Dr. Adams enjoys working with household pets, as well as learning about exotic animals. She completed a preceptorship at the Bronx Zoo and internships with wildlife veterinarians in Australia and South Africa. Dr. Adams moved from Saratoga Springs, NY where she worked in small animal medicine. She is very pleased to join the team at Hurley Veterinary Hospital and to explore the Mid Hudson valley.
