Dr. David Gunzburg, Senior Associate Veterinarian, is a graduate of the globally accredited veterinary school at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia. Prior to vet school, Dr. Gunzburg was a film and television Producer/Director for productions filmed in Australia (his home country) and overseas. His affinity for all animals and their well-being, a love for the country versus the "big smoke," and a quest to explore new and exciting challenges, were precursors leading to veterinary medicine and ultimately to Hurley Veterinary Hospital via Salem, NY. Along with special interests in small ruminants, including alpacas and goats, and orthopedic surgery, Dr. Gunzburg is enjoying the great variety of outdoor activities this region has to offer.
