Dr. Gillian Ferguson

Dr. Gillian Ferguson grew up in upstate New York and wanted to become a veterinarian for as long as she can remember.  Her interests were aimed at companion animal care until she attended college at the University of California, Davis where she gained a love for small ruminants, especially sheep.  She graduated Cornell University veterinary school with a mixed animal emphasis and has practiced in Australia, Wisconsin, and has been back in the Hudson Valley for several years.  When she is not working as a veterinarian she is also an EMT for Northern Dutchess Paramedics and is the owner and herd manager of a flock of sheep in her home town.
