Dr. Jill Rutherford received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island in Charlottetown, Canada in 2011. Prior to that she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Marist College where she met her husband, Ken.
Dr. Rutherford has made her home in the Hudson Valley since 2013 where she has served as a companion animal veterinarian in general and emergency practice. Her focus is small animal medicine, with particular interest in surgery and dentistry. She enjoys helping animals to stay happy and healthy as they move through all stages of their lives.
Dr. Rutherford is honored to be the mother of three magnificent children, who keep her as busy at home as when in practice.
